What is the difference between a duvet and a comforter?Updated 2 years ago

The biggest difference between a duvet and a comforter is that a duvet requires a cover. For hygienic reasons, most people prefer the duvet as it is a lot easier to wash a duvet cover than a comforter (which is usually bulkier).  

Not all comforters are made equal- some cannot be washed at home. However, we've designed our Cooling Comforter to be machine washable at home.
